STRANGERS FROM THE SKIES by Brad Steiger

Our prolific pal Steiger serves up a slate of UFO encounters in this transitional work between the classic Forteana volumes and the post-Chariots UFO boom. There's a bit of Air Force disclosure drama near the end, but otherwise this is in the old school Forteana style, without even an introduction or epilogue to bookend the episodic entries. These range from simple sightings of strange lights in the sky to creepy close encounters with UFO occupants and far-fetched contactee tales such as Howard Menger, the reincarnated Sarturnian. The horrible Flatwoods Monster shows up, as do the famous floating Goblins of Kelly-Hopkinsvilles and some Terrible Flying Jelly Bags from Sweden. It's all breezy good fun as we've come to expect from Brad. Available to read and download at archive dot org.
